Born in Vancouver , B.C., into a show business family, Sarah Strange set her sights on becoming a doctor. But upon entering high school, her ambitions were shattered with her introduction to algebra. Sarah then joined the high school theatre department, marking the beginning of a highly successful acting career.

The busy actress starred in the ABC series My Life As I Know It, with Kelly Osbourne; and in DaVinci's Inquest , in a regular role that earned her a 2000 Leo Award nomination. Sarah also appeared in the final season of Ken Finkleman's The Newsroom . Also among her recent credits are guest-starring roles on the series Touching Evil and The L Word ; as well as featured roles in the upcoming features Pursued , with Christian Slater and Gil Bellows, White Noise, starring Michael Keaton, and Dark Arc, which premieres at the 2004 Montreal Film Festival.

For her debut role as "Carole" in the award-winning drama series Madison , Sarah received three consecutive Gemini nominations and a 1996 Leo Award for Best Actress; and in 1995 she garnered a Gemini Award for her guest role as a strung-out junkie hooker on the acclaimed drama series Neon Rider .

Sarah 's impressive resume also includes guest turns on the series Twilight Zone , Jeremiah, Dark Angel , The Chris Isaak Show , Level 9 , These Arms Of Mine , Viper, Nothing Too Good For A Cowboy , Betaville , First Wave, Poltergeist, The Outer Limits and The Adventures Of Shirley Holmes ; and dual roles in Ken Finkleman's groundbreaking comedy series Foolish Heart . She performed lead roles in the Disney television movie Ladies And The Champ , starring Olympia Dukakis and Marion Ross, The Piano Man's Daughter , based on the novel by Timothy Findley, and in Kitchen Party, a feature film written and directed by Gary Burns ("Suburbanators").

When she's not on location, Sarah lives in her hometown of Vancouver , B.C. Sarah plays the recurring role of "Jill Langston", the lead virologist at NorBAC.
