Greg Bryk


A native of Winnipeg , Manitoba , Greg moved east to study law at Queen's University where he was a Dean's list student and Academic All-Canadian linebacker on the Vanier Cup-winning Golden Gaels football team. He decided to forgo law in favor of acting, and landed his first role as the lead in the university's production of Hamlet .

After graduating with a Bachelor of Honours in Drama and English, Greg went on to perform on some of North America 's most prestigious stages including the Stratford Festival, the Stratford Conservatory, Circle In The Square, New York 's Metropolitan Opera, and the Prairie Theatre Exchange.

Most recently, Greg performed the lead role in the independent feature Pizza. His big screen credits also include the role of "Alexander 'the Juggernaut' Yount" in Men With Brooms, written, directed and starring Paul Gross; "Simon" in The Gospel Of John; and "Vinnie" in Clay Borris' Indy film, The Pawn. He most recently appeared in David Cronenberg's critically acclaimed feature A History of Violence . Greg is currently shooting a feature film with Clive Owen, Paul Giamatti and Monica Bellucci in Toronto called Shoot Em Up!

Greg was a series regular on Body And Soul; and guest-starred on several popular series including The Eleventh Hour , Blue Murder , Sue Thomas F.B.Eye , Starhunter, Mutant X , and The Relic Hunter .

Greg now makes his home in Toronto with his wife and children. He plays the role of "Weston Field", former Executive Assistant to NorBAC's Executive Director "Caroline Morrison" (Maxim Roy), now NorBAC's Interim Director.
